Metro XD

As a 16″ cube, Metro XD is the smallest of our renown subwoofers. Capable of an amazing 118dB of output, Metro XD is designed to augment systems with woofers 10″ and smaller.

To achieve this remarkable output, Metro XD takes advantage of the piston area that only a 15″ down-firing radiator can provide. Use it in your home theater system to enhance low frequency effects or go way down deep to discover the hidden bass lines in your music.

This kind of extension can only be achieved in a compact enclosure by supplying serious power – 750 real watts to be precise – to an efficient long throw 12″ subwoofer. This driver offers the highest Xmax available in its efficiency class, a 3″ dual 4 layer voice coil and a 480oz motor structure.

Fine Tuning

Metro XD provides variable level control, continuous phase adjustment and a wide range of crossover frequencies. Also included is our unique blend control to finesse the transition in the overlap area from your main speakers.

Ultra Long Throw 12″ Subwoofer

This driver offers the highest Xmax available in its efficiency class, a 3″ dual 4 layer voice coil and a 480oz (30lb) motor structure. The powerful motor structure and dual 3″ voice-coils are required to keep the woofer’s heavy cone well damped electrically. The voice-coil leads are woven into the spider so they can’t slap the cone on large excursions. The internal ICEpower® amplifier’s current capability is an ideal match for the series/parallel load of the 4 voice-coils.
